One to One mentoring by a Christian male will be provided each mentee throughout the seven-year program. Each mentor will be a professionally trained male who has been selected by Pathways Danbury based on personal interviews and background screens and Church / business references. Each mentor will be participating based on a commitment to a long-term relationship with his mentee. Matching of mentors and mentees by Pathways will be based on the needs of the mentees and the personal profiles of the available mentors. Mentoring contacts with mentees will be primarily at the sponsoring Church or at the young man's school on a one to one basis, at least 6 hrs a month and in-group activities organized by Pathways Danbury on a monthly basis. Each mentoring relationship will employ an Annual Plan to organize, set goals and assess the developement of the young man as a responsible, effective and caring Christian.
