Mentor Selection Criteria "Good Men"

To select the finest Christian men available for mentoring Danbury boys and young men..
To develop and encourage mentoring excellence and accountability.

Mentee Selection Criteria "Psalm 37:3"

To select as mentees, middle school boys in Danbury, who have the potential "to trust in the Lord and do good".
To carefully match boys with mentors so as to create the most effective mentoring relationship.
To launch, encourage, and support weekly mentor/mentee meetings as the key to developing Christ filled young men.
To develop and present effective, exciting Bible Study for Pathways' mentees.
To provide tools for life skill training of mentees by mentors.
To provide effective after-school tutoring via SAY YES! that fosters academic growth and development in a Christ-centered environment via a holistic, developmental approach.
To provide the required minimum one week of summer Bible camp for each Pathways mentee at multiple camp options.
To provide 10 hours per year for community service
To develop good sportsmentship and team cohesiveness traits.
To provide Pathways young men who have graduated from high school and who have met all Pathways obligations, "seed" financial support for their future.
