• Academy operates using the National Association of Street Schools (NASS) model
• Private School Education
• Individualized Instruction
• State-of-the-art facility
• Support grades 6-8
• Single gender school (boys only)
• Students expected to attend for 3 years
• All students pay tuition; Most on scholarship
• Uniforms will be required (provided)
• Technology driven classrooms & curriculum
• Open enrollment (non-Christians welcome)
• Breakfast/Lunch provided each day
• Public school transportation available


Target Audience

    • Boys who are at-risk
    • Boys who have a history of academic failure
    • Boys who are addicted
    • Boys who have little or no support from home
    • Boys who have witnessed a life-time of poor modeling
    • Boys who have no self-esteem
    • Boys who have no hope
    • Boys whose families are stuck in generational poverty
    • Boys who need a safe place to be
    • Boys who need Christ and the skills for self-sufficiency

     

Operating Objectives

    • Assist each boy in gaining the skills, competence, and confidence to succeed at the high school level and in life
    • Help each boy overcome destructive patterns and behaviors that will keep him from succeeding
    • Provide passionate, knowledgeable, Christ-centered teachers and advocates to lead the learning process
    • Provide a clean/safe/loving learning and work environment for students and teachers
    • Prepare each boy for a successful transition to high school.
    • Help each boy develop and implement an individual growth plan.
    • Introduce each boy and his parents to the love of Jesus Christ
    • Get each boy the help he needs (counseling, drug treatment, etc.)
    • Ensure parental involvement at all levels thus supporting/enhancing the parent-child relationship
